Well, that was embarrassing. So much for regression testing.
The things I had added to make Arena grinds work broke the dungeon grind.
So I fixed the specific dungeon grinds and fixed the generic dungeon grinds as well.
Get it here.
Now that it works better - go have fun.
And tell your friends! Since my announcement was already deleted from both the SS forums and the wiki. Naughty naughty.

Sacred Seasons 1 grind script / bot v0.010
Whats my version numbering method? Nothing, really. Consider this 1.0 if you want.
Here's what we have so far.
This is an AutoIT script. Get AutoIT here.
What does this script do so far? It will endlessly grind Tsulas, Bleakwoods A3, Underworld D2, Underworld E4, and Underworld F4. It also has a 'generic' grind which should work on just about any dungeon.
It will also grind completely through FF or SVA (and possibly other arenas - still untested).
Uncomment in the script the part you want to run (lines 104-111) - just uncomment one or it will blow up.
For dungeons, run the script outside the dungeon. For arenas, run the script in the first room.
I started this about 5 days ago and it's a work in progress. Please leave comments on bugs, suggestions.
If you think this is cheating, don't use it. If you think other people using it affects your character or enjoyment of the game, it doesn't.
From the games TOS:
"In accessing any part of this website, you agree:
not to use bots, scripts, outside and/or external programs to alter game-play in any way, including but not limited to speed hacking and/or the use of any macro programs which control the mouse for the player.".
So - using this script can get your character reset to level 1 or banned.
But I would add - NOT using this script will leave you sitting in front of your keyboard for hours clicking mindlessly at a game that requires hours and hours of grinding just to reach the next level.
The choice is yours.
I'm thinking that it's less conspicuous to grind the arenas but for now the script only runs through an arena once - I'll add repeat runs in the next update.
Ugh - I didn't know blogger doesn't support attaching files.

How about some bots?
So, I've been playing Sacred Seasons and Sacred Seasons 2 recently on Kongregate.
And as someone who tinkers with programming, I can respect the amount of work that went into both games. But that doesn't mean that they are without flaws.
A good RPG increases your characters level and abilities along with the storyline. And then if you're not very good at RPGs and you don't know the exact mix of spells and potions and weapons you need to defeat a certain enemy, you can go back and replay earlier levels to increase your characters stats - aka grinding.
A good RPG allows you to grind to make things easier on you. A poor RPG requires you to grind to get ahead in the game. And thats the problem with Sacred Seasons - and it's a huge problem.
I've looked for some scripts and bots for Sacred Seasons and either my Google-fu is weak or they are hard to find. What I did find was the work of rbrbran277.
He created a script and showed it's power in some Youtube videos. But the link he provided for the script no longer works. I did find a version of the script here. But I couldn't get this version to work. The author admitted that some tweaking would be necessary but every time I tried to fix one subroutine, the next one wouldn't work.
So using that script as inspiration, I decided to make my own scripts. I'm starting with a Tsulas script and will work my way out from there. I'll have something to share with everyone in the next few days. I have a decent Tsulas script running now, but it stops working sometimes and I want something that will run for hours at a time.
If someone has a working copy of rbrbran277's script or any other working script they'd like to share, I'd love to see it. Otherwise, it's my sloppy programming you will have to put up with.
